ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Thanks for your patience as we had to transfer the website to a
different hosting service. This move took longer than we
anticipated.
The AYSA Program transition has been delayed until Spring in order
to provide time to finalize plans and communicate changes to the
AYSA families.
As in the past, AYSA collects a non (City of Alpharetta) residence
fee and forwards the money collected to the City of Alpharetta.
However, the City of Alpharetta has required AYSA to calculate the
non-resident fee differently then we have done in the past. Some
budgetary line items previously exempt from the calculation, now
have to be included. Instead of a flat fee of $39.25, we are now
required to collect 75% of the total registration fee which, as in
the past, AYSA forwards directly to the City of Alpharetta. Note
that there will be different non-residence fees based on the
program that you sign up for.

REGISTRATION:
Fall
2009 Softball Registration (click for registration).
Registration open for returning players and Alpharetta city
residents. Non-Alpharetta city resident open next Monday. The Fall 2009 AYSA program offers
softball for girls from age 6 - 15 (ages are determined by birth
year - age of player on December 31, 2009). Programs will include:

Softball: All players must attend evaluations to be held August
15th.

6-8 age group (birth years:
2001-2003) - All games and practices will be held at Alpharetta's
North Park. Teams will have two scheduled events per week (one
weeknight event and one weekend practice). |

Inter Park/Select Fast Pitch: All players must attend
try outs to be held August 8th. The number of teams formed will be based on number of
available pitchers, catchers, skilled players, and experienced
coaches. Players not making an Inter Park team can attend the
softball evaluations and will be placed on a team.
